Description: The name of the woman in my painting is Inay Ginamayon. During the great flood she was saved because she rode on a big kalatong or bamboo drum. Apo Agbibilin married her. The people of Mindanao originated from them. The painting illustrate that Inay Ginamayon began planting trees and crops to restore what is lost during the great flood. inay Ginamayon was also position on the top because it represents that she was in the mountain into which she drifted on a kalatong was called Kalatungan.
