ARTIST PROFILE
Justine Florence Sumalinog, “Biboy” to friends and family, is a rising artist from Tagum City, Davao del Norte. He began his artistic endeavor last April 2021 and has since joined group exhibits showcasing artworks and paintings in Davao City and his hometown. His biggest show yet and his first exhibit experience was the Mindanao Art 2021 Exhibit where he debuted his ‘Face to Phase’ painting. A member of a local artist group in Tagum City, “Sandog”, Biboy carries on his passion and is currently exploring other artwork styles that he believes are uncommon. Still, he remains rooted in his paintings inspired from his mother who is a Special Education teacher.

Everybody needs everybody. Despite having different cultures, different beliefs, and different life status, we all have a common ground. We are each other’s oxygen. We do not only live for ourselves but also for our community. Connecting with each other is the key for our community to grow.
