At center is a portrait of Estelita Bantilan, a blaan woman who is a National Living Treasure Awardee. She is one of the many Banig  weavers of sarangani and were aptly dubbed as “dream weavers”. Banig is a traditional handwoven mat mostly used by the Blaan people of sarangani as sleeping mats. Here, the “dreamweaver” is making a traditional banig. A few strips of the textile stretches away as if to connect the array of images on the background. These images symbolises the different municipalities of Sarangani . Like the Banig, the province of Sarangani is an enormous mixture of colorful cultures and traditions woven together through time and are celebrated by its beautiful people of diverse ethnicities, with joy and pride.
