Graphite on paper drawing by Daniel Jinayon.

Midnight comes, as every sunrise and sunset. Wandering thoughts, deafening silence. Life’s harsh truths endlessly run through my head. Nothing stays the same, that’s what they always say. Leaves fall, seasons change. What we hold dear now may be gone tomorrow. For even in in the wee hours of those fleeting moments, midnight skies break into the dawn of a new day. Caught of guard, always unsuspecting. What’s to come is never truly ours to behold.
