ARTIST PROFILE
Sol Jickain is a self taught Dabawenya artist, an entrepreneur by profession and a devoted mother and wife to her family. She is also in the service in ministries entrusted to her by God, it was her heart in serving the Lord that had led her in loving art.
It was her foundation and driving force of her artistic progression in which she enjoys paving her journey as an artist.
It is also her way in worshiping the lord as she sing and dance in worship as she creates her art works.
Furthermore, she believes that art is a powerful tool in communicating the love of god, as everything was created by god in the art called love. She has an eye for details and fascination in challenging phase, indulging in different mediums like oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pen ink and many more.
Mostly of her subjects are animals and portraits in playful vivid colors and always based with scriptures.
