Description: The Habi sa kagahapon is the seven women tribe weavers of bukidnon that was practice a long time ago. This are the following tribe: Bukidnon, Higaonon, Talaandig, Manobo, Matigsalolug, Tigwahonon, Umayamnon. In this three series of frame the seven women tribes of bukidnon were united to tell a story in the past. The weaves are the illustrator of the Great Flood. The Drum in the center is a sign off calling for all who is deserve to be saved and the believers. The Women weavers help each other signifies that even they are in diffrent tribe they were united to tell a story in the past for the next generation to come. The Traditional costume of each tribe also illustrate in this frame to show the rich and beautiful culture of Bukidnon. The Mandala art in the upper portion of the frame is the curtain illustrated triangle pattern represents the mountain of Bukidnon . The background in a dark portion is the forest and animals that the bukidnon is very rich of, but it is slowly dyeing or extinct because of human irresponsible used of natural environment. I choose women weavers as the main center of my concept because nowadays HABI is almost gone in some tribe in bukidnon. I want to show how beautiful and rich the Bukidnon Textile and promote their work and hoping that in this little way we can still look back how beatiful the bukidnon culture.
