ARTIST PROFILE

CARINA ALEJANDRINO RAYO or more known as JINKY RAYO is a Mindanaoan born watercolor artist. She is raised in Davao Oriental, a product of Lupon Central Elementary School, finished high school in University of Southeastern Philippines and college in University of Mindanao, College of Architecture, Davao City. She is now a resident of Biñan, Laguna.

An International Watercolor artist, self taught since 2012, her works are an array of landscapes in unusual perspective and lush hues, floral still life, brimming with multi colored medley of ornamental objects that reflects her Filipino roots.

In year 2021  she has received award in IWS Singapore,  IWS France Pyreneenes watercolor exhibition/competition and for 3 consecutive years has won top awards in IFAM of Malaysia’s International Competition and Exhibition since year 2019 . Her works are exhibited internationally in USA, Russia, Italy, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Hongkong, Vietnam, Greece, Switzerland and other countries since 2015.

She is one of the Founding Members and former President of Philippine Guild of  Watercolorists and International Watercolor Society of Philippines
