“The development of agriculture about 12,000 years ago changed the way humans lived. They switched from nomadic hunter-gatherer lifestyles to permanent settlements and farming.

My father is a farmer and I took a picture of him while plowing our rice field and painted him.
Farmers are the backbone and essential of our society. They provide almost everything that we eat. They work hard and grow different kinds of crops from early morning to sundown.
Farming is never easy. I spent my childhood summers on a farm, so I know how difficult it is to do farming and I adore my father for being one of those farmers who really loves farming. Who never gets tired and still wakes up with a positive outlook in life.
I called him ‘My Unsung Hero”
Majority of our hard working farmers, especially here in the Philippines, were never really appreciated by all of us. A sad reality.
But just like my father, I will continue to be positive and never stop talking and appreciating how great the farmers are.
The entire population of the world depends upon farmers.
