Selfishness is equal to selflessness as good equals evil. In my piece can be seen the selfish method of a person who is blinded by the height of his footing in life, regardless of the effect it will have on the people below his status. “Slippery slope” is a course of action which will lead to something unacceptable, wrong, or disastrous.
There are people who don’t think about the welfare of others but their own. They are imbued with the idea that they can stand on their own two feet, that they don’t need someone to lean on and no one has the right to lead them in their decisions. My work depicts the exact image that no one is truly self-sufficient, everyone must rely on the company and comfort of others in order to thrive. Everything we do in life, whether it’s small or big, has an impact on the people around us. Our stars are align even our breathing.
The universe is a dance of energy. Equal energy given for energy received. Any imbalance in this mutual exchange will be balanced by the universe.
The bill collector will eventually come to get the energy you held onto. We are all connected.
