Nina Sta. Ana Custodio

Nina Sta. Ana Custodio has been painting since 2015.  A graduate from the University of the Philippines with a degree in Art History, she always had a fascination for the arts as a means of self-expression.  Her artistic journey started with a promise to try painting if she survived cancer.  Her initial medium was acrylics, later  trying watercolors with the encouragement  by her artist friends.  That’s was four years ago.  She sees painting as  the most articulate way for her to express herself and the best way to keep a visual diary of her life after cancer; its challenges and more importantly, its tribulations.  It’s how she celebrates life, in full color, in swirls of water and vivid hues.

She is presently a member of the Philippine Guild of Watercolorists and has participated in both local and international exhibits in Italy, indonesia, USA, Switzerland, Albania, Malaysia, Singapore and Ukraine.
