” ART IS EVERYTHING”

Jhon Mark Datulayta is a 21-year-old, ling in Datupiang street Kidapawan City Philippines. A visual artist who creates realistic portraits and landscape artwork.

He currently studying at University of Southern Mindanao Kidapawan City Colleges. Jhon started making art 7years ago. Watching art videos inspired him to make creative things. Making painting become his hobby.

Selling it online, participating and joining art exhibit gives him the opportunity to grow, to support his studies and other personal needs.

ARTIST STATEMENT

I always use my imagination to create art pieces that challenge my ability to as an artist.

I don’t paint just to gain popularity. I paint to develop my talent, to learn more about art from old master, and also for my own growth as an artist.

Furthermore, having such a talent is a gift from God that I am grateful for.
